Serena is an experienced events management professional with experience in business-to-business conferences, trade shows, incentives, executive meetings, and educational programs. Her specialties include creating and launching high quality events, as well as, helping existing events become more profitable through effective project management and cost negotiation.

Serena has over 15 years in the event industry. Prior to becoming a freelance conference planner, she was the conference director for Staffing Industry Analysts, where she spent 8 years managing their annual North American conferences. She also has planned meetings for biotech, banking, and manufacturing industries. She earner her degree in Public Relations and Communication from Boston University.
